The spinning dancer

They say the direction you see her spinning in indicates the kind of brain you have. If you see her spinning clockwise, you are right-brained and creative. If you see her spinning counter-clockwise, you are left-brained and analytical. Do you believe it? I'm not sure I do.

Anyway, I would prefer to be right-brained, but I only ever see her going counter-clockwise.

What do you see?

  1. After I got over the fact THAT SHE'S NAKED... :-)
    I saw her spinning clockwise

  2. I actually can't watch this video. The dancer for me alternates between spinning left and spinning right. It makes me dizzy.

I guess this means I'm crazy.

  3. @Douglas: lol. Naked, maybe. But really just a naked shadow woman, so it hardly counts, don't you think?

@Anthony: Interesting. For the life of me I can't make her reverse course.

  4. When I watched the video the first time, I couldn't imagine being able to see her going any way other than clockwise and I expected all the comments to say she was spinning that way. Apparently, that's not the case and I must be right-brained, although I kept trying to analyze how someone else's brain might interpret the image as spinning in the opposite direction. :)

  5. I see her as going clockwise. Like Diane, I can't make her reverse direction; I'm usually pretty good at flipping optical illusions.

  6. If I kneel on the table behind my computer and look down on her so she is upside down she goes clockwise...yes, I really want to be a creative type- can you tell?
