Did you make your NaNo goal?

I did. One MS: revised. 50k words: achieved. This felt very nice for me!

And you? How did you do??

(Apologies for the late night/early morning post!)

  1. I'm almost there at 48,387 words. I'll finish tomorrow. What a wild ride it's been. I'm loving the new novel I'm writing and will be excited to keep going after NaNo.

  2. I hit 50K today. I'm not quite done with the story, and much of it needs to be put in the proper order, but I'm relieved to have completed the word count goal. I did a happy dance when I saw the "You Won" screen come up after I did the word count validation.

  3. NaNo gave me great motivation to work on a story that's been stewing in my mind for years. Truly. Years. :D But I got past the 50 K and up toward 85 K this weekend to finish the entire manuscript. Can't wait to edit it!

  4. Well done to everyone who took up the challenge in the first place. Even if they didn't finish by the dead line, at least they started it - that's an achievement in itself. Keep going those of you who are very nearly there. I'm thinking of you.

It was such an excellent experience for me and I'm so glad I did it. I hit 50,226 words on 23rd November and I intend to finish the novel thing if it kills me!

  5. Hit 50,600 words yesterday morning. The extra 600 were for a wrap-up closure scene with the protag.
